Over 60 Years Transforming Spaces with Safe, Flexible Solutions

Here at Maxson, we have a long history spanning over six decades of successfully providing innovative products that deliver unique solutions. Our products provide wide span openings that maintain life safety code compliance, create flexible and reconfigurable spaces, and provide functional support through security and environmental control. Our mission is to provide an unmatched experience and support for our clients to help them transform their spaces using safe, flexible solutions.

History

Founded originally in 1955 as the Maxson-Betts company, E.W. “Max” Maxson and his business partner established a foundation of assisting architects during the design phase of the project while faithfully executing the delivery and installation of the products as designed. The company originally sold just doors and windows but quickly added specialty products like rolling steel doors and loading dock equipment over the next 20 years. In 1976, Max sold his stock to his partner to form Maxson and Associates, Inc. in order to serve his architectural and general contractor clients better and create a path for succession. Max lead the company through continued growth until his retirement in 1988.

Since then, Maxson and Associates has continued to thrive under the leadership of Max’s son, Bill, expanding its offering into space management and life safety products that complement its traditional product offering while greatly increasing its service business. Maxson remains a partner to architects and interior designers as full service, knowledgeable product representatives, ensuring the careful execution of their design through dependable construction execution and teamwork with the General Contractor. Every effort at Maxson is focused on a solid client experience, down to the day-to-day operation by the facility owner throughout the life cycle of the product. The options and capabilities offered today are unmatched by its competitors, and sets the Maxson team in a class of their own.

Testimonials

Kimberly,

Recently I had the pleasure to work on a project with Maxson and the lead from Maxson was Russell. He was all around amazing! He was very easy to work with, helpful, hardworking, and knowledgeable. He knew everything that needed to be done, and even when a few problems did arise, he was able to deal with them without losing a step. He was great with communication with me and my employees onsite so that way we were up to date with the project progress. Because of Russell, my company’s (Cooke & Associates Construction Company, Inc.) first time working along with Maxson was seamless and worry free! I would absolutely recommend Maxson and Russell to anyone!

Thanks,

Will Cooke

Mr. Morrison: I would like to personally thank you and your team for jumping in and helping us on the Hazel Southpark Apartments Project. We were stuck with a inconsistent product from your competitor and in matter of days you all were able to change out their smoke curtain for yours and pass the DOL inspection in 1 attempt with a solid product. Thanks again for your assistance in this matter Sincerely,

Dan Ricci

Good Afternoon Johnny,

I just wanted to personally thank you for the stellar customer service you have provided to us! There are not many vendors who would go out of their way to make accommodations so that we were able to set up the partition for our tenants with only a days’ notice.

We appreciate you taking the time out of your day to get us the appropriate key that we needed, and thank you for making sure the correct one is ordered for us!
We promise to return it to you once our new one comes in.

Thanks a million!!

I enjoyed having your crews onsite.  Good guys and did very quick and excellent work.

Thank you,

To whom it may concern,

Maxson  associates Inc. as contractors on my project, for smoke curtain installation, has been a stellar contractor. After many site visits to confirm our readiness for installation, in both buildings, they came through on the day of elevator inspection, beyond expectations.

In order to pass our inspection, we needed to replace one of the curtain motors, and the closest one was a 2 hour ride away. Without missing a beat, a tech was dispatched to retrieve one, and it was installed in time for inspection, and we passed.

I highly recommend Maxson associates, for any project you are considering.

Sincerely,

David Shelton  Superintendent  CM-LEAN

Your company has been successfully servicing our doors for quite some time now.  I know I can always count on your company to solve our door related issues in a prompt professional manner.

Recently, not knowing of your company, and in my absence, one of our associates contacted another company to perform service work on a door issue at our facility.  After that company made several visits to try and resolve the issue with no success, your company was contacted, and your Service Technician fixed our door problem on his first visit.

We appreciate the level of service we receive from your company and are looking forward to your company continuing to be the door company we rely on.

Sincerely

Jeff Parks

Thank you for your amazing Customer Service!

Being in the hospitality industry, our organization really puts a lot of emphasis on customer service to our clients.

Capital City/Lake Murray Country Regional Tourism Board was thrilled when we called you late last week with requested repairs to our new glass panels.  We recieved IMMEDIATE response from Maxson and Associats.  That’s what separates businesses apart and all of you should be proud of your service folks.

Again, thanks and we look forward to keeping you up to date on the success and reviews of your products.  Our Grand Opening is this Thursday!

Sincerely,

Miriam S. Atria

Just wanted to thank you for arranging to get our meeting room walls repaired. Chris & Elmer did a great job restoring our 20+ year old partitions!

Thanks,

Craig
